Privacy

Greased Lightning Limited is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. We care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This policy explains how we use the information we collect about you and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy when you place and order and whilst you use the website.

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

The Information we collect and how we use it

When you place an order with Greased Lightning either over the phone or via the website, we need to know your name, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, email address and telephone number. This information allows us to fulfil your order and notify you of the status of your order.

All orders are currently fulfilled by Greased Lightning Ltd. If we choose to use a third party service provider for fulfilment at any point in the future we will therefore pass on your details to that service provider so that they can deliver your goods to you. That third party service provider will undertake an agreement with us that they will protect your information, will not pass it on, and not use it for any other purpose than to deliver your ordered goods to you.

If you subscribe to our mailing lists, you will be asked to specify your preferred method of being kept informed by us. We may also ask you to give us optional contact information, for example your mobile number and demographic information like your age.

We use your information for the purpose of providing you with relevant information about promotional offers available directly from us and from our retail and TV shopping partners, and information about new products and other events or features of our website which we think may be of interest to you and for related marketing purposes. You may choose to start (opt in) or stop (opt out) receiving this information at any time. You can amend or remove your preferences by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your emails and following the instructions provided or by calling our customer services team on 01252 279 303.
