Do I need to wash my car first?
NO Showroom Shine will clean and shine in one go! Just spray the product onto one panel at a time, wipe over with a good quality microfibre cloth to trap the dirt, and buff to a shine using another microfibre cloth. It’s that fast and easy!
Will it scratch the paintwork?
NO Special cleaning chemicals breakdown dirt and grime, then surround and lubricate grit particles away from the surface. These are then trapped in the weave of the microfibre cloth. The trick is not to use any elbow grease – don’t push the cloth into the paintwork, just move it gently over the dirt and grime. Let the product do the work – if it feels like hard work then you’re doing it wrong! Be careful not to drop the microfibre cloth on the floor as it will grab the dirt particles. If you do drop it, don’t be tempted use it on the paintwork – use another one instead.
Is it just for cars?
No Showroom Shine is also great for bikes, boats, caravans and motorhomes, windows and conservatories
Do I need to spray on loads and loads?
NO A little goes a long way. Try and get a fine mist through the nozzle and aim for an even covering. If the product is running down the panels then you’ve used far too much. If it’s really dirty on the sills then let the product soak into the dirt for 10 seconds or so and you might have to clean the panel twice. But Showroom Shine will remove even winter mud safely!
Can I use it in full sunshine?
YES Showroom Shine will not dry hard like traditional waxes in full sunshine. If you do miss a bit when buffing, just reapply Showroom Shine and wipe it away with the microfibre cloth. Showroom Shine also works really well in the rain!
Will it clean all hard surfaces?
YES Showroom Shine works on any hard and shiny surface – glass, wheels, plastic trim, bumpers. We don’t recommend using Showroom Shine inside the car.
Can I reuse the microfibre cloths?
Yes Just wash the microfibre cloths 100’s of times in hot water or the washing machine but do not use fabric softener.
How many cars can you clean with one bottle?
Up to 10 Of course it depends on the time of year, the weather, the size of the car etc but with practice you should be able to clean and shine up to 10 ‘average sized’ cars. i.e. size of a Ford Focus. The first time you use Showroom Shine you’ll use too much. You will use less and less as you get used to how it works. Remember: be sparing, a little goes a long way!
Any tips?
Yes Clean and shine one panel at a time. When you’re cleaning around the grill, door shuts and handles, or wheels then spray Showroom Shine onto the cloth and wipe it onto the surface rather than spraying it on. This will avoid getting the product into places you then can’t reach with a cloth! Also use this method when it’s windy so the wind doesn’t blow Showroom Shine all over the panels you’ve just buffed up! And lastly, use good quality microfibre cloths – the cheap ones don’t work as well and don’t last long.
